Add carrots, chestnut mushrooms, garlic and a teaspoon of Marmite. Slow cook. Yumster  cloud9:

What about adding chestnuts?   They go well with both meat and mock meat.  Marmite does not really.

I am told we are having poached eggs on toasted crumpets with all sorts of other stuff excluding Marmite.   BBQ sauce will be involved
