I let others do the hard work last night. Had a meal out with my youngest for her 30th birthday, my choices...

Roasted mushrooms, cream & Pinot Grigio sauce, and crusty bread



Lamb rump, asparagus, chorizo, dauphinoise potato, peas, baby onions & jus



Mixed berry Eton mess & a Chambord drizzle




All very nice (the lamb was superb), great service, and wonderful company

Tonight it's me doing the cooking, pork fillet, stuffing, yorksire puddings, dauphinoise taters, neeps, cauli, cabbage, fine beans and gravy


Oh JOM that all looks lovely - what a good appetite you have  ;D
Today's menu, cooked by you, doesn't sound half bad either  cloud9:

Nothing cos I had a 3 part breakfast (porridge, toast, Bacon Sandwich) and Stew and Dumplings with Chips at a canal side pub at lunch.
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.
