Went to new pub Effin chaotic but the food was good
The names they come up with these days. 
What was wrong with the Kings Head and the like?
It's actually called the White Hart, it was a good pub with a good pub like menu but shut immediately after Mothers Day and has just reopened with all new owners, decor and menu and will probably rename itself some shite name like the Fragrant Petal. But right now 'Effin Chaotic' is a good name for it. But to be fair the food was good.
We are losing proper pint and pie pubs in the UK . I can see all the reasons why and there's no point going all King Canute about it but it's still a shame

Anyway for anyone near Netherfield in East Sussex we recommend the Swann that's a bit further up the road to Heathfield instead.
