Whenever I hear the word faggots I always think of the word Brains...

Was it just me that, all those years ago, thought faggots were made from brains?    redface:

In my defence, it was a long time ago...

Quote
Mr Brain’s Faggots have been sold in the UK for over 100 years. Herbert Hill Brain, son of a grocer, was born in 1864. In 1890, four years after his marriage, he started his own grocery wholesale business in Temple Street, Bristol.

Savoury ducks! Got to be at least 20 years since I've had them. Next time I'm up seeing the family, they'll be on the list. Wenchy takes stuff out to Spain, I come back from Manchester with bacon ribs, Hollands Pies, a few black puddings and made sure that I've sampled barm cakes while up there

Last night I had grilled lamb escalopes with peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and blood.

Lesson 1 - be extremely careful when chopping things after a night on the sauce.  noooo:
