Spiced lamb with flageolet beans ... I might have been a bit too generous with the garlic ...  surrender:

Fish pie. Never done one before. So starting simple. Smoked cod, smoked haddock, prawns & leeks. Spuds on top. Basic Parsley sauce, new potatoes & frozen peas. What can possibly go wrong.

 rubschin:

Possibly too much smoked fish. I use only smoked haddock, plain cod, and salmon (Wife allergic to prawns). We find one smoked fish and two unsmoked gives just the right "bite" to the dish.

It was rather tasty i have to admit...need chocolate now... eyes:

Stuffed?

Now with LL away what will you be eating?
I spit-roasted Souvla which is large chunks of goat...

Then we had a 'butterflied' leg o' lamb marinaded with Rosemary, lemon and other stuff wot I can't remember which I grilled on the BBQ coals 'til pink...  cloud9:

rubschin: Mutton followed by .......... errrrrrr........... mutton. Original menu planning I'll give you that.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Not bas for a first attempt. Though I think you were right about the too much smoked fish bit. Half & half next time.

Mrs TG & I are both turn into murderous lunatics after consuming salmon so prawns it shall be.

I've never had scallops (scollops?) before so might try them next. Or maybe not.  sick2:

I spect you meant bass. They are quite pricey, so that's not a bad decision.

Roast pork with all trimmings today ~ eaten as Lunch 'cos it's Sunday, followed by fresh fruit salad and cream.
