Same here. I cheered (?) myself up with a trip to the local dump to offload about half a ton of hardccore, other stones/boulders and other assorted shite from the back garden.

What my Mother would have referred to as "Bracing weather"


Much as I hate to argue with the Bear no sign of leaves changing colour, no northerly winds, no harvest festival ~ in fact no Autumn at all.

I was merely relaying what the weather forecaster man said last night, and i quote (approx.)...AGAIN.... Thursday and Friday will FEEL more like a taste of autumn.

No mention of leaves falling or bears a hibernating, as most pleasant an idea that sounds to both you and me alike, cloud9:

Strong winds last night and heavy rain. I've got up to lots of small branches off the acacia trees around the lawn and one bigger one next to the car, hopefully it didn't hit it. Anyway, the rain's stopped and the sun is shining, showers are forecast throughout the day
