Well I had to dress for all weathering eventualities today.
10c at the start and blowin' a hooley, absolutely breast freezing, so lobbed on a fleece and thick waterproof jacket.
Within 100ft of verticality, i was cooking. Wind dropped to zero, and clouds of steam were following me. I had no spare room in me bag, so i had to persevere.
Nearer the top though, the temperature plummeted, and coupled with wind chill, it felt close to freezing tbh.
Thick fog from 1000' upwards, but on the way down, the mistiness gradually vanished, the sun came out and it turned into roastiomungus.
The coat had to come off before my boiler berst.
Talk about all seasons in one day!
