In the far distance you can see the mountains of Snowdonia. In the foreground the tall thin structure is the Rhyl Skytower ~ a pleasure ride, from the top of which they say you can see the Isle of Man. The "Scrap yard" is where part of the promenade is being demolished and rebuilt during the "off season". To the left of the picture are some of the holiday flats, hotels etc that make up the seaside promenade. What do you expect the f*ing seaside to look like on a cold wet morning in November? It's Rhyl not Miami.
