Been a fantastic day today...

Off-roading... cross country like...

Ignored the 'Road Closed' sign... then the sign that said 'No Entry - Rally' went along this long path through the forest and came out at the other end to a sign that said 'Finish' and a load a people with stop watches and score boards... they were somewhat surprised to see ten Pajeros in convoy...  redface:

Been up in the Lake District for the weekend, and I can quite honestly say I've never seen the place in such beautiful weather. It was absolutely staggeringly gorgeous, with the most breath taking views I've ever seen.
Glorious sunshine, flat calm, and a crystal clear blue sky looking down on Coniston Water shrouded in thick mist 1500ft below.
Awesome. eeek:

I'll post a couple of piccies once I've sorted them.

Why can't everthing in this undeniably beautiful country of ours (parts of)  be so fantastic?

Gorgeous! I really miss decent sunsets.

On the plus though it is dry! I can cope with any amount of cold so long as there is no sodding rain!
