Put the lid on and simmer for 6 hours .... you should be ready by the time she gets home.

It nearly came to blows  redface: ...I dared to put my hands on her shoulders and steer her towards the open door and am apparently going to be reported to Social Services and have been told to go and die ( appropriate I guess for this week !!!! )
