Had about another 40mm of snow fall between 1100 and 1300hr's. It's a tropical -1.5. Another 20 - 100mm forecast before midday tomorrow.

So when people think of a white Christmas now will they think of serene , wonderful, idealised , romantic notions of beautiful scenery covered in sparkly, glittery  white stuff  - or perhaps the modern version. Frustration, delays, anger, no transportation, hoooge gas and leccy bills, cabin fever  and broken bones  rubschin:
