Now very darkio ... thermometer says it's 6 degrees but it feels much colder. Quite a breeze too. Pity as it has been a sunny afternoon and quite pleasant ....... indoors.
Typical that tonight I am ferrying small boys across two counties and hanging around waiting for them to  fence:. They, of course, don't notice the cold .... but then it doesn't give them angina evil:

1 deg and frosty.  Crunchy and sparkly underfoot... I know cos I just been out and put 4 cans and 3 wine bottles into the recycling wheelie bin.
