THESE were particular badly behaved, not helped one of them having an exceedingly pushy father who's sprog was nearly in tears. ::)

My 10 minute talk to them about the dangers of running around at Swamp 2 were completely and utterly ignored.

Meanwhile, due to a totally incorrect weather forecast last night, I've got to go back tomorrow to try and clear all the mess up, much of it sweet and crisp packet wrappers.

I let him do just....and no more... what he wanted, but that didn't stop the father having a good rant at him when he got out of the car. eeek:
I CANNOT stand pushy parents who end up having their kids feeling dispirited and downhearted.
Encourage them yes, but know when to stop.

Dunno. First time I've personally encountered this sort of parent power behaviour, but I do know it exists. Horrible. noooo:
Go to any kids go karting race session or saturday morning jnr. footie match for eye bulging confirmation. eeek:

Difference here though, is that this wasn't a competition, only the father was turning it into one it seems. ::)

Oh I know, my Dad used to be one of them. He suddenly realised what he was doing the year Brother Wench and I didn't tell him about the interschool swimming gala. He stopped after that
