Very damp and misty. Leaves are dropping from the trees in their hundreds. There is a light breeze.
All in all a typical Autumn day .... I am off to the War Memorial across the road.
Back in half an hour.

I was at the memorial chapel for the service, great to see that it was full, and it was noticeable that there were quite a few younger people there this year. I dare say some of that is due to other recent conflicts and the younger generation being aware of it due to knowing those involved in one way or another. Lest we forget
