Rain looms at Gatwick. Yet again it's all turned to rat shit so I'm stopping on until 03:30. Should get home just in time to run a bath for the missus and get  up  her, first day in her new job. And then I will sleep. For a long time.

 whistle:......

Glad to be of cheer.  Thumbs:

This ray of sunshine brought to you direct from rural Berkshire (only 50 minutes by First Great Western, times can go up, but never down).

I mostly despair

I've been out of it, and out in it.

An eventful morning where I witnessed a lorry plough into a car on a roundabout as he left the M40 without stopping. One lady and one youngster taken away in the ambulance, thank god for air cushions and air curtains

I was unaware of it except for an unpromising cloud at lunch time which did not stop but passed on.  I too have witnessed an accident this morning as I sat stationary waiting for a fuel pump to become available.  Some lumbering lummox in a  4x4 rough style, chose to reverse diagonally away from the pump he was at, making a very nasty blue graze on a very nice red sports number behind.  Although the directional routes were very clearly marked but he was unfortunately stupid.  She was not happy.   noooo:
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

Grey but dry at the moment rain is on it's way apparently.  It has rained so much of late that I am thinking of turning the gap between a retaining wall and the greenhouse into a pool.  A very shallow long and narrow one but a good selling point I think.

Growler I am so hoping for just a bit of summer up here too.  Mr C and I have a stand at Sheffield's 'Art in the Garden'.  I will be wearing my best power selling attire. I should hate to spend the weekend up to my knees in mud, not to mention cold and wet.  It is very difficult to do 'culture' under such circumstances.  Especially when the print runs on your 'hand outs'.

We will be just out side of this

Considering some of the places that I have been an exhibitionist at this is not a bad place to be for a day or two IMO.  ;)
