It's been snowing here since around 0830hr's, around 40mm more snow expected by noon. I've just been asked to go in and man the "Snowdesk" 1900 - 0700hr's, totally OTT in my opinion  Banghead

You might think that the last few days have been bitterly cold - but forecasters predict that it's going to get colder still.

The Daily Star reports that temperatures could drop to -20C next week, and some parts of the UK will be cooler than Vladivostock, Siberia, where it will be a bitterly cold -9C at night

Is it any wonder half the supermarket shelves have been stripped virtually bare by gormless panic ridden sheeples around here, when the likes of this useless cow writes utter crap like this? Banghead

Snowing steadily all morning and our road (off the beaten track) hasn't been gritted. Coming home from work this morning it was extremely slippy - compacted and frozen. The snow today has restored some grip so the old Lexus made it out no problem.

Tomorrow morning might be a bit trickie, mind  rubschin:
