Nice morning here. When I went to bed the evening's rain had flooded the lawn and the front garden under about three inches of water. This morning it is all gone and taken the remains of the snow with it. Just been in the garden with the dog and although a bit muddy underfoot it is a warm and still day.
No doubt all the water is now at the bottom of the mountain ~ certainly the Lower Village had the sandbags ready yesterday but where we are no problems.

First thing I'd do to reduce this comedy of errors in the future, is to introduce skid and adverse weather training courses as part of the driving test, not forgetting PROPER motorway tuition too.

Far too many sheeple....probably about 90%.... out there simply haven't got a clue or the foggiest what to do in a bit of snow, other than go into  a blind panic and headless chicken mode. Banghead

I followed a snail trail on the main road back from The Asda last night, and the one thing I noticed was the unbelievably close distance they were all following each other. eeek:
No larger gap than if the road had been dry tbh. noooo:

Really, just like a herd of frickin' sheep with a touch of Lemming tendencies lobbed in for good measure.
