I think it is more complicated than that now and Cyprus has a double-tax agreement with the UK, blah, blah, blah...

Basically I have to prove this is my main residence and my funds are here to be taxed in Cyprus (10%)...

I'd have to prove I spent more than six months in the UK to be able to claim NHS treatment...

I'm here...  ;)

Somehow I guessed it wouldn't be as easy as say some Somali hoping off a plane and getting benefits, heart treatment and a new home all within a week of arrival. Interesting point about the NHS though ~ presumably as Cyprus is part of the EU (or whatever it calls itself this week) you can carry one of those little cards like what enabled me to get free hospital treatment in France for ten days. I appreciate that you probably have to become ill whilst here and can't just nip in and out for NHS dentist/doctors etc.

With the (now) large glass of Merlot to the right, the sun has moved west (since Earth is the centre of the Universe) and seeing as the apartment faces south, is now out of sight. That said, a cool breeze is wafting through the windows of the office, playing gently on the blinds ...   lol:
