One good, one bad. The bad one needs replacing. Getting it replaced in the summer with an inverter type. For some strange reason, they are cheaper in summer. Go figure...

Slimline leccy heaters are good...

Not as good as aircon units...

Leccy heater, 1,000W of lectric produces  (ignoring losses) 1,000W of heat...

Aircon unit in our bedroom uses 770W of lectric but can produce 9500 BTU (7,840W) of heat...

Inverter units are even betterer....

I think it depends on conditions, the age (gas loss) and if it is a decent Japanese one or some unknown shit make from India....

Just moved into the attic bedroom - will try heating it with the aircon tonight....
