Today is quite cloudy and there is a forecast of rain coming in from the sea later. The family are going blackberrying as we have been given several hundredweight (well two hoooge carrier bags full) of the most perfect cooking apples. They will then spend this evening converting this combo into jam. I, meanwhile, am planning on resting my slowly improving back in a hot "Badedas bath". Fitting up the new fence panels will have to wait. The heaviest lifting I plan to do is the Sunday Papers.

Ooooooooooo! Dontcha just hate that! Reading a paperback in the bath and falling asleep only to wake an hour later, freezing cold and with a sodden book on your chest. Drape book over radiator to dry out ~ that'll take a week or more and it'ss still be twice as thick as it ever was and then have a hot shower to warm up again.  evil:
