How did you know?  eeek:

Back in my early days in Security we provided the studios with a man and dog patrol. The vehicle assigned to the duty was always referred to as "The Dog Van". Ratty old Fiesta Van that eventually blew up on the North Circ one Saturday morning.

So I was telling the truth. When other pool cars were off the road, in the days before I got "my own" company car, the Dog Van would be summoned in from site to pick me up from the control  room and take me out to the studio from time to time for meetings with the client's management.

We'll have to start calling you "Mystic Meg"  lol:

Not exactly "Phew" but very pleasant ~ gets chilly at night mind so the winter duvets are on the beds. We have felt the need to light a fire on some evenings after about 7. cloud9:

As I still have no car, I had to do a 14 mile round trip on the pedal cycle today. Very bright and sunny and I took the scenic route throught counytry lanes. No sun glasses...they are in the car. Had to stop at the pub by the canal to fortify myself with two glasses of cold cider for the ride back, so sat in the pub garden watching the boats go up and down for an hour.

I've now got a head like a live matchstick  cussing:

I know you are in North Wales Snoopy, dont know the exact location, but taking  a stab at Colwyn Bay, that would take me about 3 hours in a car, probably about 15 days on a pedal cycle. I was knackered today after about 4 miles. How Eddie IZZARD did about 26 marathons in as many days is incredible.

Isn't it bleddy amazing how you always leave something you need in the car when it goes in for service?  cussing:

Often it is stuff that you haven't needed or even see3n for months or years yet you can guarantee the first time the car isn't available to you for months and m0onths you will need it...

I took my motorbike to bits the other day. Standard practice is to support the fuel tank (which is hinged at one end) on a rubber bungee.

"I know where I've got some new, never used rubber bungees in perfect condition that will be perfect for that job!"  cloud9:

In the back of the bastard Pajero which won't be back from the garage for two days!  Banghead
