Gorgeous day....I have been and chosen and ordered new carpets

Now time to get the paint roller out. None of that paint pod palaver in this place ...maybe after a spot of lunch tho first  whistle:

Very bright and sunny this morning.....but struggled to get up  cry:

I spent ages last night fitting a new blind in my bedroom , fixing new brackets and then cutting it to size ...ever so cautiously  scared2:

Anyway then put up new curtain pole and lovely thick new curtains.

Effect is a total hibernation experience...dark and sleep enhancing environment  cloud9:

Strange weather here. Warm but grey. Still forecast says it will improve to sunshine as it did yesterday.
Not quite an "Indian Summer" but a very pleasant Autumn.
