Not my fault ~ blame the weatherman ~ anywhoo you are prolly getting the left overs from South Wales and the West Country not the North Wales stuff which is advancing on Cumbria as we speak.

Amazing the difference in one hour. 0730, absolutely chucking it down, the windsceen wipers couldn't cope with it. 0830, the brightest of blue skies, bright sunshine, but strong winds. The forecasters reckon the worst of it will be here around now, so I suppose it's the calm before the storm  scared2:

Apparently we are due another "surge" as the "back of the front" passes over. The Barometer has taken another nose dive.

Skynews are obviously moving along the south coast with the storm. The reporter was stood on the seafront being blown to bits at Mudeford. She was running through the list of problems the storm was causing and then referred to a few BRAVE windsurfers out on the water nearby.

Brave? These people are fcuking idiots. If it all goes tits up, no doubt they'lll be expecting the inshore lifeboat and it's volunteers to come to their rescue  cussing:

Always some thrill seeking idiots around I'm afraid. We get more than our fair share on the coast here in North Wales.
Like :
1) The father who, using his jet ski (recently acquired), towed his two non swimmer little boys out into the Menai Straights. They were on an Asda rubber dingy attached to the back of his jet ski by a tow rope. The Inshore Lifeboat caught up with him ~ took the two boys to shore and thence hospital whilst the police interviewed him "without the offer of coffee". He was totally unrepentant  Banghead

2) The countless fools who take to the water using inflatable toys as the tide is running off

3) And the latest bugbear ~ the bloody kite surfing brigade
Just about OK for California or Australia

BUT deffo not suitable for holiday beaches in North Wales
