It has gone dark again ~ the wind is picking up strength and, most worrying of all, the clouds are now blowing in the opposite direction  rubschin:

To explain:- All morning the clouds have been scudding across the sky at a fair old rate of knots, travelling from the South West to the North East. They are now moving just as quickly but from the North West heading South East.

Came back over the Snake Pass,. Suprisingly quiet and calm tbh. Those gorgeous big 'ills   cloud9: yyyyyess, must shelter it from the windio kinda like. confused:

Bloody rain when I got to Manchester/M56 was of biblical proportions though.  eeek:

I really must get up into the Peak District, and give it a very serious sniffin' at. Stunning area, and extranordanarily (sp) exceedingly bleak.  cloud9:

Plenty of trees down in this neck of the woods. The main road five minutes from here has been closed for 5 hours now. I suspect it's a bit more than a tree down  noooo:

It's stupid o clock and needless to say dark the wind has died down and in the trees adjacent to here there is a sodding blackbird that thinks it's time to get up. evil:  Could well be black bird pie for breakfast.

I have decided to do the decent thing I now have some tea and have opened the window.I am aiming the shotgun as I type I have decided to appreciate the melodious sound. surrender:

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

The melodious sound of nature in London usually involves trying to determine what sound of siren it is you are hearing; Police, Fire Brigade  or Ambulance

Plenty of those last night  - it being Saturday and the most popular night for wildlife round here  ::)
