For the first time in many a month, I've switched the central heating on this morning

3° here at the moment, I hope all the fuschias etc survived it. Forecast is for rain most of the day, I suspect moving various plants from the garden will be the order of the day

The weatherman on R4 just said that "the temperatures were around freezing even as far south as southern Britain."  ::)

Good to see that all this new technology has improved the accuracy of the forecasts...  noooo:

BTW, he also said you would be having "torororential rain" whatever that is...  noooo:

It's gonna p*ss down, strong winds from the north, possible flooding in parts of Wales and Southern England tomorrow.

Can anyone tell me ~ and I know I've asked before ~ but just how long is a cubit?
