I never actually knew skiing was available in Cyprus until you posted the BM cam piccies.

It is a bit early yet - Jan and Feb are the best months...

Do you and Mrs BM partake at all?
Any good?
How many runs are there, and how big? What's the nearest resort? Troodos village?

TBH we haven't skied since we've been here... we have all the gear like but haven't managed to get up there...

I think there are just two runs... more of a novelty thing than a great skiing experience.

There is also a dry slope on the British base at Episcopi.

On snow is the only way to learn as I found out back in the mid 80's.
Bloody awesomely great fun once the confidence suddenly kicks in, (most odd the way one minute you can't ski, and the next minute you can  confused: ) and the nearest thing ever to rallying on two legs.  cloud9:

The troubled cross-Channel company Eurostar had little cheer for stranded Christmas travellers today as it launched an inquiry into the weekend collapse of its service - but no trains for a third day - and then blamed 'fluffy' snow for the disruption.

After this years festive frolics on the travel front I don't think too many people will  be inclined to book long journeys next year  ( not if they have any sense )  noooo:
