Well, this wonderful.

No buses, no trains, no gritting, no nothing!

Very peaceful. Well apart from Mrs Tel who is pestering me to find out how she can get to work.

A light dusting of snow here. Looks a bit like a cake dusted with icing sugar. Bloody cold though. All bus ses running and schools open at the moment but Secondary school says they may send pupils home if it gets worse.
Because the boys are now Home Educated I don't give a toss about the primary school.

My mate in Siberia reports that it is -37 there. He goes to work on the bus with no problems  whistle:

Despite the complete breakdown of the transport system, I was able to buy newspapers.

School opposite is closed, station has no staff, people stupidly walking on the road whilst cars are sliding around!
