If you live here and have to dial 999 you are forced to listen to a two minute tirade in Welsh before you can say which service your require. When you are connected to, say The Ambulance Service, they too babble in Welsh before asking you what you want. It is more subtle than burning your house down but has much the same effect in the end ~ we will return to England one day.

Have you tried painting faster so that you get the job finished before the paint runs out?  ;)
