Last time I went anywhere near a mountain it was sierra nevada in Spain for sking. Sea level to 3000 feet in one day. I passed out on the ski lift and threw up on my instructors boots. Not good. Something to do with my low blood pressure.  noooo:

I've got Mount Olympus just up the road, 6,000 feet like...  whistle:


Mighty Mount Olympus was the heavenly home of the gods in ancient times and still inspires thousands of visitors who flock here from all over the world to tackle the tough trek to the highest peak in Greece. The entire area was declared Greece's first national park in 1937 and consists of eight peaks including the "Throne of Zeus" at 2909 metres and Mytikas which has the highest summit at 2919 metres. You don't need any special climbing experience to take on Olympus but you do need to be fit, properly equipped and have a good head for heights!

You also have Zeus's lav allegedly, as for being properly equipped.... eyes:

Yes. Your's is just twice as high, but still poses the same dangers that some nuggets you see up there appear to be totally oblivious to.

Trip up Kalamanjero with me is out of the question then Wenchio? lol:
