Blessed is AP McCoy, for he rode a lovely race to win on Wichita Lineman and thus a pile of dosh for me. Binocular in the 3.20 would be nice too.

Still bloody cold.

This country is supposed to be hot.  It's still not above 20C in the daytime and the missus still wants the gas fired death-trap on of an evening.  I've limited her to just the one bar of scorching heat now since it's March, but mainly because I need the bottle for the forthcoming BBQ next week.

According to my detailed records, we dispensed with artificial heating on 31. 01. 08 last season.  I'm aghast as to why we are still using said luxury at this point in the year.

My cries of 'put a fvcking jumper on' do not seem to have broken through the thermal layers of insulation.  They are, however, making a hole in my wallet!

Right, I take it all back - the weather is now glorious, hot and very sunny.  Rather, it was before  it got dark.  In fact, the Significant Spender has been out today with her kit off, sunbathing.   eyes:

Tonight she has gone to her sisters to babysit for the two little vomit-monsters.  I can't quite understand why I am not taking the opportunity to download/view vast quantities of porn, but instead I have dowloaded an episode of Antiquities Roadshow and watched that.  Thoroughly ridden with boredom, I decided to come to the pub and post my weather experiences.

When will this Hedonistic life-trip ever end?  whistle:

No idea.  I think it was Carol Smiley, no, no - It was Fiona Bruce - dragging up some old footage from the 80's and interviewing a few has-been presenters who reminisced and exuded gushy pleasure regarding the great 31 years of BBC antiques coverage.  Rivetting it was.   cry:
