Eldest boy is 41 in two weeks.
I have all the Thomas collection in Book form from when he started through cassettes to Video tapes narrated by Ringo and that fella from Bread.

Christopher Awdry ~ the son of the Rev Awdry who wrote the originals for his son ~ still lectures to interested groups. MiL's WI had him along one evening. He said he is sick of the bloody things too ~ which is why he sold the rights to the Yanks who now make the videos.

Surprising how much good weather can lift ones spirits.

Mrs TG phoned me from work at lunch time after I had a hard morning taking IT tests at Brook Street employment agency :

MTG: What are you doing this afternoon?
TG: Er...
MTG: Get out in the garden and do some stuff.
TG: What stuff?
MTG: Any stuff, just do summat you lazy bastard.
TG: yes dear.

I have duly been in the garden doing stuff. Roll on summer but thank fvkc we aint got a lawn..  cloud9:
