BBC says 'it might be windy'  evil:

Might. I went out to do something to the dustbins, my clothing inflated and I left the ground  evil:

So you are the one who still uses the local Phone box? ;)

"Meetings" sounds far too pompous for a visit to the PO to post a manuscript (yes some publishers still prefer the hard copy to email) and thence to the printer to arrange for some English/Welsh translation and to hand him the proofs of the April issue of the magazine. Were I Scottish I might have said "I have to go to do my messages" but that too would be misconstrued. So I am going out and whilst out I am going to make two calls, one at each of two premises, where I will no doubt engage in some discourse of a social nature and conduct a brief business transaction at each.
Is that clearer?  razz:

There isn't one ~ The Police had it removed two years ago as they claimed it "could be a focus for teenagers intent on dealing drugs".

No need to be tetchy. surrender:

A simple answer of "nobody, there isn't one" would have been sufficient.

I suppose you had to find a new place to pin up your "Mr S. Feet Licking Service" cards?

I gave up on the cards because of lack of response ages ago and nowadays rely on word of mouth  razz:

Anyway ~ riveting though this all is I really must go or I'll be late.

Still windy and cold but the sun is shining ~ fitfully. (See what I did there? Got back on topic..... must be a first)

Still Pizeing here...

Went to the DIY shop to buy some 50mm pipe - by the time I had bought a hacksaw and cut the end off so it would fit in the car I was soaked...  redface:

50mm isn't that long ~ surely it would have fitted in the car?  ;)
