I would think so...those stockings don't offer much protection from the elements  eyes:

FYI Miss D, these are not any stockings, these are wrinkle free, body shaping, waterproof stockings ( for those embarrassing moments), capable of repelling all boarders, including 6th formers. They masquerade as 10 denier when in fact they are 6,0000 denier, they are Marks and Spencer stockings, because we are worth it.!!!!!!!!!!

All in all I commend these stockings to the house pub.
