It was getting better last night, woke up this morning and it was stiff as **** (to save anybody else posting, so was my back). Doing the exercises as advised by the doc and litle bits around the house to give it gentle mobility along with ibuprofen and parecetamol seem to be doing the trick... ta for asking

No, first thing she checked for was sciatica.

She was doing the reflex test on my knees with her little hammer, then started doing it on my feet. I still had my shoes on, after a few hits I pointed out that they have a steel plate in the sole for site safety.

Been a nice day here.

Unlike the deluge last night. A woman was rescued from her car that was submerged in the flood water under Wallington railway bridge.
Same thing happened 2 years ago - they even have depth markers on the pavements now.

A blissfully warm, quiet, sunny afternoon here ... until ...

A van parked outside tries to start up with high revs, noise and clouds of dark grey diesel fumes... cries of No! No! coming from somewhere, more smoke and fumes and looking like it's going to blow up  eeek:
Smoke obscures the road, the other cars....  scared2:
Within minutes... sirens and a Fire Engine arrives, lights flashing....
And then as quickly as it started it all dies down... fire engine moves off... smoke drifts away... van driver is wandering around on mobile.... van is doubtless gubbed...
