Phew what a scorcher!

Local supermarket has a Caribbean Cuisine sampling tent/van in the car park; jerk chicken, lamb patties, wash it down with a rum punch, mon  eeek:
Reggae music coming from a parked car; it's like being in Bridgetown!  lol:

Oh our fete was splendid  evil:

Junior orchestra (somewhat overshadowed by 'Play with the police car siren') Reception class Maypole Dancing with added falling over, rainswept BBQ, 'games' devised and run by 9 year olds (all of which involved some combination of jumping and sweets). tea (from an urn). Terrific fun

And to end the festivities now that Nick's Fete is over, our village PTA Car Boot Sale has ended and a local business sponsored "Armed Forces Day" complete with displays and band has drawn to a soggy conclusion the sun has just come out. Donja jest lurve the weather here?  eveilgrin:

Meanwhile at Snoopy Towers we have demolished the garden shed intentionally ~ I would have asked for help from Nick but since it stood next to our heating oil tank I deemed it wiser not to mention it until it was down and the remains removed. whistle:
