Dya know summat, it's been that cold 'ere on Merrrrseyside that a scouser was actually seen with his hands in his OWN pockets today!  eeek:

I reckon we've had an inch of snow in the last couple of hours. And now it is coming down thick and fast!! Snow in tomorrow looking v likely!  cloud9:

Not far out really Darwin. I cleared my car of 3" of snow last night at around 1900hr's, another 6" on it right now.......sorry Grumpmeister  point:

About 3 inches here in Swindon - Mrs TMRBB isn't confident of driving my 2 ton, 3 litre, rear wheel drive automatic Lexus, so I shall attempt to get her into the office. If the snow keeps up as it is though, not sure I'll be able to pick her up later though  eeek:

An hour and a half to do a five mile round trip. And it's still snowing. Wish I had Growler's 4x4 thingy.

I was considering using it today, but in all honesty even the off road tyres can't cope with ice any better than F1 slicks tbqath.  noooo:

It might have to be - I've had to abandon the Lexus up the road in the hope I can move it later on - it simply wouldn't make it up the incline into the cul-de-sac we are in.

The black taxi cabs round this was seem to have no problem - I may suggest she gets one.
