Schools closed here. Country buses are canceled, blue skies and much warmer. I am listening to the test match currently happening in 30deg+ temps in South Africa.
Village life seems to be continuing although my 4x4 is still awaiting repairs. Apparently Christmas  and then New Year prevented any work on it between the 21st Dec and 4th Jan and now the snow has brought things to a standstill. Any excuse it seems. My argument that this weather is the very reason for owning such a vehicle is falling on deaf ears. B@st@rds!

Yes ~Your 'ill is in sunshine at the moment but Denbighshire have run out of salt/grit and only main roads are being treated. You may have problems with the minor roads. Forecast is that it will get warmer near the coast but then freeze after sunset.

Yes I understand that BUT there are abandoned vehicles all over the place making access difficult on most minor roads.

I am not a demon!!!

We've had about an inch and a half on the optimistic side. Still enough to stop every train coming through Cheam though. I waited for over an hour and a half for nothing. Some buggers had been there over an hour when I arrived!!! I am now at home.
