I had no problem driving my chrildren to school this morning, all the country lanes were fairly clear and I did the journery in reasonable time. Could have been even quicker if the prat in the 4x4 in front of me didn't keep braking at every snowflake.  ::)

I did drive back home and left the car there rather than leave it at the station as if we do have heavy snow (a.k.a. "light dusting" according to Growler) this afternoon I didn't want it stuck there.

Just received a text from the school saying they are closing at 12.  Banghead Now got a text from daughter saying the snow is soooo deep. Not sure if she's being sarcastic.  rubschin:

Bloody frozen!

Been out on the quad most of the morning helping neighbours get feed to remote livestock and breaking ice in troughs.

So glad to be out of produce that walks about, drinks and gets hungry.

Warm soup, then stand by the Aga for half an hour and I am restored.  cloud9:
