Decided to go to the gym this morning.

Went out, loads of snow, loads of cars going sideways.

After waiting quite a while for a bus, Mrs Tel came along to go to work. Told her about her lack of buses and then some people came along and told us that the buses were being diverted. Problem was that nobody knew where they were being diverted.
We both decided to walk although in opposite directions.
After an hour in the gym I came out to find that buses were still being diverted. Absolutely crazy that no-one comes along to explain what's going on.
Have now had a rant on TFL website.

PS for TMR - went slightly the wrong way this morning, ended up in the Grove, but your road and the rest around there were extremely treacherous, 2 to 3 inches of snow. Saw one van coming along Mill Lane trying to do a left into Strawberry Lane - went sideways instead, into River Walk or whatever it is called.
Loadsa school closed again!

Thanks Tel, looks like he area got off lightly compared to Swine Town - 4-5 inches so far. I'm off to pick the boss up soon, let's hope the roads are clearer than they were at 7am!

Shouldn't be going out if you're still convalassing convalesing bollox I hate the english language sometimes  cussing:.... recovering from pig flue.

I didn't have to lie down in the snow after all. They took pity on me and aren't sending the fleethire car back to Hull until next week now.  happy088

The Kicked in the ribs cough is slightly improved, ta. It's probably only a degree or two below but there's something about freezing slush that makes it feel really cold and miserable.

The thought of a log fire is tempting but I'd get done for torching the property  whistle:. There should be a channel on the telly that does nothing but warming log fire... like the Birdsong station on DAB  rubschin:

Snoopy, can you not go a-foraging for wood?  There's a friend on t'other side of the park who's constantly getting firewood from the parkies - blown down branches etc.
My Bro-in-law gets theirs from the dells on the farm; a never ending supply it would seem.

All wood belongs to the landowner~ even if I didn't have limited mobility.
We burn a load a month at this time of year. A load = a third of a cord of wood.
