I placed an order with my usual stationery suppliers a couple of days ago. Nothing major and the whole lot would have fitted a large Jiffy Bag and could have been posted. They have emailed to say they are out of stock due to inclement weather  Banghead
They are in fecking Dorset ~ not Siberia.
I have told them to stick the order up their collective arse and have obtained all I needed from WH Smith.

They have now sent a squawk email saying how much they value my custom. I have told them they should have thought of that before and placed them on my automatic feck off file where all unwanted emails go.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

BIG drama on the posh side, as ever. ::)

7c so I really don't understand why the thaw of the 200' high snowdrifts has halted. confused:

Strange in'it. I werk outside in areas that aren't treated, and I've walked miles up and down 'me 'ill' amomgst other places covered in deep snow and extreme ice, and I've not actually managed to fall over even once yet.
P'raps I'm just careful, or praps I'm not attempting to do some seroius 'willy waving' to attract sympathy and needless childish attention, who knows, who actually cares? noooo:

The ice and snow covering swathes of the UK is continuing to melt away - but forecasters are warning that the brief respite in the wintery weather is likely to end by the start of next week.
While rain and milder temperatures will hasten the thaw with the mercury rising up to 10C in some areas of the county; current weather predictions are pointing to more severe snow and sub-zero temperatures up until April.

More tales of pathetic woe and icy snow bound disasters from the 'micro climate of the posh side'' expected for a further 10 weeks then?  ::)

I'm going to get another 4x4 to add to the rescue fleet in readiness.

Dry here anyway, a mere 40 miles from Mancland, and verging on a tropical heatwave. eeek:

What's this p*****g you speak of btw? confused:

If the question is about Manchester weather it is fact ~ I was on the phone to my Uncle in Wythenshaw at 0800 ~ it was pissing down and very windy he said.
