A fair amount of cloud, but some blue sky, the forecast promises sunshine, so a trip up to the Cotswolds for lunch beckons  cloud9:

This is my favourite country pub

http://www.theroyaloakinnluxborough.co.uk/index.php?mn=317

I try to stay there at least one night a month. In fact I am more regular there than some of the locals.

Roaring log fire, good ale and grub and no mobile phone reception for miles

I notice it's near Dunster.

I have fond childhood memeories of there. Stayed in the very end pink cottage on the left IIRC.
Probably a bloody Tesco now. ::)

No...Dunster is still unspoilt. Used to take the kids to stay at Dunster Beach when they were still kids. I used to like a pint in the Luttrell Arms in Dunster

Dunster Beach?
It hasn't got a flamin' beach, or has land erosion really got to grips down there now?
Has Minehead finally vanished into the sea like?  eeek:

Given the area where I think you live, give this place a try , it'll probably mean a slight diversion, but if it's like it was 12 months ago, well worth a try. An old aquaintance of mine had been running it for about six months then
