Alternatively:

You will need:

one clean guinea pig
onion
ground chili pepper and ground red chili pepper (both very spicy)
cooking oil
parsley
oregano
mint
huaycatay (an herb that tastes and smells like a blend of black mint and marigold)
walnuts
salt
butter.

The recipe, obviously not one for the beginning cook, instructs you to open the guinea pig ventrally, then to salt and drain it. After salting and draining, remove the organs and intestines, but do not wash the cuy anymore. Parboil the innards separately, then pierce them and dress them with onion, chili pepper, and oil. In another container, prepare a finely chopped mixture of the parsley, mint, oregano, huaycatay, walnuts, and salt. Combine the mixture with the cooked organs and intestines and stuff all that back into the body cavity of the guinea pig. Coat the guinea pig with butter and ground red pepper. Place the critter in a roasting pan and cook it in the oven ?until it?s done.?

Things aren't what they were Uncle and that's a fact.

True. I was at the doctor this morning so I got a later train. By that time the rush hour's over and I had a 25 minute wait. Could have done with a cup of tea and a chat with Celia.

My last wait at Kings Cross left me speechless. Table service at extraordinary prices or a cardboard cup of something and walk around with it.
Very uncouth I thought.
Whatever happened to proper waiting rooms with a coal fire to warm yer arse by and a lady serving tea and buns over the counter?

Buns are a health risk and cannot be served anymore - they have too much sugar and carbs , also contain prolific innuendo's which are no longer tolerated in modern society

Waiting rooms have become crime dens and so have been closed down in the name of the law

Ladies became extinct but this was long after the fall of the last real gentleman . They held onto hope that some would have survived but alas it was not to be.
