If it is any consolation my niece in Switzerland reports that weather there is shite too ....... And they have even more me'ills.

I suspect that this will not worry Lil Bruv who will simply gaze at the barmaid rather than the shrouded in mist and rain view out of the bar window as he drinks himself into oblivion.

It usually is iirc.
Well werth the wait for when it does turn sunny though.

Last time I went in June '77 (Interlaken) it was freezing, constant 'lashings of', and snowing with a blocked mountain pass slightly higher and not far away.
I'd like to say it was beautiful, but never actually saw any BIG 'ILL peaks.

She replied that she had heard Switzerland was very nice. "It is clean, with lots of fresh air and they have hills" she told him.

So they moved to Switzerland but within 6 months they were back living in flat old Holland again. Neighbours asked them what had gone wrong with their retirement plans.

We had our bright bit here at about 11 this morning since then muggy and grey with drizzle on and off.

Am I to believe that after all these years of using that Avatart that someone has clicked the subconscious meaning? 
When I selected it the first thing I thought of was "It looks like Jacques Tati's avin' a wazz over the baclony", but then I thought, "Let's leave it and see if anybody remarks on it!"
