12 deg C and blowing a gale .... worse to come according to the weather forecast. scared2: I don't like it windy ~ Old house that creaks and groans in high winds.

Pissio all afternoon  evil:

School's out and loads of soggy kids are trailing up the High Street.
The boys are soooo pleased they no longer have to endure the walk home in the rain.


The THW is on a driving lesson (straight from school gates) so she will be unhappy as she hates driving with the wipers on.

Gone very chilly now .... I've lit a fire in the study. Silver birch (sustainable) logs and they smell good enough to eat .......... for a beaver  ;)

Twas scorchio today... much coolerer this evening tho...

Checked the long-range weather and had to put the irrigation system back on... forecast for the next ten days is sunny and 25...

I'll be bloody freezing in the UK of course...  evil:
