Snow has finally arrived here. Back out for a 12 hour shift in 20 minutes. Looks like the cricket will be background noise rather than the main focus of attention  confused:

Forecasters my arse

Just as I got to work they said that it's not gonna happpen tonight, but it will tomorrow. Doesn't explain the 1/4" of snow on the cars and lawn though cussing:  Back at home now, I shall have the corned beef and marter butties as a late night snack or breakfast

No further snow overnight, and the snow is disappearing into the channel but a lot more should be here around 1100hr's. They're predicting up to 250mm of snow from Yorkshire downwards from 0300 to 2100hr's tomorrow.  scared2:
