Ditto x 2. I woke up, the daylight outside told me it was around 0730hr's, but the clock said 0757hr's, so I got up, to find out that my eyes hadn't focussed and it was actuallu 0557hr's  cussing: .... and the heating doesn't come on until 0600hr's. Brrrrr

Well it always USED to.... Footy on Saturday afternoons, listening to the results on the radio whilst writing them down in the Daily Mirror for me Dad to check his "Pools". Church followed by roast beef on Sunday. No buses on Sundays, no bloody B&Q open, in fact no shops open except for the newsagent who closed at 11am. Pubs only open 12 to 2 and then again from 7 to 10.30.
Christ I'm beginning to sound like John Major misquoting a vision of Britain first written about by George Orwell. "Old maids biking to Holy Communion through the mists of the autumn morning” etc.....

Ah... those were the days...

Used to work in the pub - Sunday lunchtime paid the same as all other sessions so was in high demand...  lol:

Shops close Wednesday and Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday here although that is starting to change...
