Absolutely. ::)

Might go anyway and have a browse.
Might be able to grab a few bargains as the traders will be standing around there utterly pissed off growling and snarling at each other counting how much they stand to lose  at yet another wash out show.
They'd be better having these shows in the winter imo. More chance of decent weather these days. whistle:

Just got a health warning via e-mail!  eeek:

Quote
“THE MEDICAL Services and Public Health Department yesterday issued a health warning following weather reports of increased temperatures and humidity over the next three days.

The Medical Services advised the public to avoid continuous sun exposure as well as unnecessary activity and strenuous physical exercise. People should dress lightly in light coloured clothing and wear a hat, doctors advised.

During sun exposure the consumption of alcohol should be avoided as well as heavy food such as fats, chocolates and spices.

Drinking sufficient water (nine to 10 glasses daily) as well as the use of fans to create air flow was also important.

The most serious danger a heat-wave posed was heat exhaustion, heatstroke and sunburn.

Symptoms of heat exhaustion include weakness, profuse sweating, nausea, vomiting, headache, light-headedness, muscle cramps, rapid breathing, rapid pulse and possible fainting.

Heatstroke symptoms normally include headache, dizziness, a fever of 40°C or higher, difficulty breathing, mental confusion, fainting and coma which can even lead to death.

Heat exhaustion is dealt by moving patients to a cool environment and rehydrating them to replace the liquids and salts their body has lost by giving them cold water added with salt (half a teaspoon of salt for every three glasses of water) or a cold, clear, soft drink.

Serious cases of heat exhaustion and all cases of heatstroke must seek immediate medical attention.

Groups at high risk  to sun exposure and high temperatures include small children, the elderly, the obese, people who are unused to working in hot and humid environments, heart patients, diabetics, people with respiratory problems, renal failure and others, the Medical Services said”.

One of the effects of a "big" bowl of porridge each morning is that my first constitutional is a a drawn out affair and in terms of volume not dissimilar to giving birth.

So this morning I opened the back door on the West Wing of bruv's house and let his two rat-dogs out then went to drop the kids off at the pool, Motorcycle News in hand.  Mid offload, a gust of wind blew the back door shut and was followed by a short, sharp monsoon. I could hear the hounds yapping. By the time I finished and let them in, they were absolutely drenched.

They are now staring at me with utter contempt  eveilgrin:

The weather here could best be described as "Still"

Still Cloudy
Still Windy
Still Cold
Still Pissing Down  evil:
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
