Do they not know that it's Winter in the Southern hemisphere? 
I had to explain this very slowly, twice, to a neighbour a couple of weeks back.
Even with my careful use of a tennis ball and a table lamp I don't think he understood.
Still, at least he is only a director of a large company. Unlikely to do any harm just because he has cerebral under-nourishment.
