Currently very still, dark and quiet but the shipping forecast tells me that we are due gales later with up to Storm Force 10 winds and heavy rain squalls. Time to batten down a hatch or two I feel.

When the early morning shipping forecast mentions the Irish Sea, gales to storm force 10 and heavy rain squalls from the west veering south-west and there is nothing between my house and the aforementioned Irish Sea, which is directly west of here and visible from the bedroom windows, I get a little anxious  scared2:

Horrible.  It rained most of the night and continues to do so.  Grey and wet and miserable. evil:  I just knoe that I am going to get wet and damp on several occasions during the day. evil:
