Beautiful sunny winters day, lots of cloud around, but rain is forecast for later

And the birds are singing well, took these 30 minutes ago. Last time they're here this season sad24:

Weird weather today.  It has been raining on and off but most of the time when it was raining it was still sunny.  A few minutes ago there where great swathes of rain being blown along the valley at the back of the house at the front bright blue skies. Apparently we have a drought here. Shrugs:

JOM is right it is nice to hear the birds singing spring songs. I was awake before the sun rose and the resident blackbird was in full flow. cloud9:  I have the window open at the moment and there is a robin giving it's all and a family of blue tits are feeding on the feeding station in the garden. cloud9:
